packard bell model ms2384 blue screen

The problem start as follow;
The screen started to slow fade away and then went completely black. I connected to a monitor and the monitor shows a blue screen without any message. I try to access the save mode by pressing f8 however nothing is happening.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in fixing that issue.

- Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the charger then see if the laptop will boot back up normally.
- If it still wont load Windows try to load Safe Mode.
- Turn the laptop completely off.
- Turn it back on and start tapping on F8 until you see Advanced Boot Options.
- Select Safe Mode and press Enter.
- If Safe Mode will load do try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall graphics card driver.
- Reboot the laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically after the reboot.
- Next is to connect and external monitor if...

- Next is to connect and external monitor if available and see if you'll see any display from it because if you do there could be a problem with the actual display. Do also try to press the Windows key + P at the same time and select Display Only then press Enter.
- Reseat the RAM, remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that they are all seated properly.
- Lastly is to contact Packard Bell if it's still under the factory warranty for a repair.
