Hi everyone. I recently plugged my laptop with another charger and it went off and didn't turn on again. 10 sec before my laptop was ok. I tried again with my charger but nothing. I tried removing the battery and press the button for 30sec - 2min nothing again. When i plugg in my charger a spark appears(never happened before). The person who had the other charger told me that his laptop didnt turn on either and when he went at the pc service they told him that motherbord was dead... Any idea what might be the problem? If the problem is the motherbord does it worth it to change it? Thank you!

It's a 5 year old laptop, depending on the cost it may not be worth fixing it, find out how much it would be and consider things. If you have the money to replace it, that would be better than spending $200 to fix an out of warranty system. Of course a comparable system would be about $500 new so you would save a bunch with a fix if you go that way.
