Asus Flipbook Headphone jack

I am posting this here also. My Asus flipbook is only 12 months old and the Left headphone output/ microphone input combo jack port is NOT working. It is an Asus TP550L Flipbook.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

If you tried it with a few headphones, contact the vendor for support. If it's out of warranty you can order a new port off ebay likely and replace it or have someone repleace it.

Yes, that's what I am actually worried about. I'll have to send it back to the vendor and be without my pc for a few weeks. That is what I was hoping to avoid because most of my work is on line. I'll have to see if I can get a replacement pc whilst it is being repaired. I did not know that I could buy a piece off of ebay. Perhaps also in a computer shop. Ok, thank you very much for your kind help!
