So yesterday i turned my laptop on to play some counter-strike and the game had to update... so after it did i went in-game but everything was really jumpy .. even the audio..switching to my inventory page would even make my fps go from 100 to 18. So i tried playing lol but it still happens... the fps will drop heaps and if i tab out the game and try to tab back it.. the screen will go back then after 30 seconds then the game will pop up.
I didn't do anything to my laptop .. it was working fine yesterday

Please help :D

Hi,

Please do try these following troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving that issue.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver (AMD or NVIDIA)
- Open Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to your graphics card (AMD or NVIDIA)
- Download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers website.
- Here are the links:
NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
- Reboot the laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- After the reboot make sure that your games are set to run in your graphics card.

This seems to be deferred procedure calls & interrupt Service routines. Basically, DCPs, ISRs happen because of a faulty driver. For me it was Intel Rapid Store Technology's iaStor.sys driver. You can try a program called Latency Mon. This will tell you which is the faulty driver in your case.
