I have downloaded films on Itunes that I have bought.
I would like to put them on a memory stick that I can take with me to hotels and insert in the hotel TV USB port and watch the film.

How do I do it. My first attempt failed. the hotel TV rejected the files mp4 files.
Thanks in advance for help.

Hi,

Anything downloaded from iTunes is DRM protected which basically means the content is protected by copyright and cannot be copied onto other devices or viewing, it can only be played through windows media player or the itunes player. The TV doesn't recognize the file because it has that protection although there are ways to bypass this I will not list them here as it is against the ToS of this site and Apple.

Aside from the DRM issue, not all TVs that have USB can play all video formats, or even ANY video formats. What you can do is take the iBlah device you have and bring it with you, use a video cable to connect it to the TV, watch it that way. Just assuming that anything with a USB port will play movies is like taking a random screwdriver with the idea that you can use it on any screw you run into.
