Hi,
First do a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if the laptop will boot up just fine to the desktop. If this doesn't work please do try these other troubleshooting steps.
- Press CTRL+ATL+DEL all at the same time and select Task Manager
- Click on File then select New Task
- Type "explorer.exe" and click OK
- If your desktop screen will appear open Task Manager once again then go to Startup tab and disable all your startup items and reboot the laptop.
- If it doesn't load your desktop try loading it into Safe Mode
- Turn the laptop off
- Turn it back on and start tapping on F8 repeatedly until you see Advanced Boot Options.
- Select Safe Mode then press Enter.
