Cracked LCD on Dell laptop, and no Windows on the other. Can the two be connected and used as one?
I have two Dell laptops, but one has a cracked screen and the other doesn't have Windows on it. Is there any way I could conne

If they are same brand and type, you could in theory swap the display from one to other.
Dell uses OEM windows and as such, license on laptop is tied to laptop hardware. If you have windows installation media/factory reset dvd you could use it to install windows back on other computer.
if not and you have extra windows disc lying around (of the same type you have license for, usually on bottom of laptop) you could use that to install windows.
as to the final question, can two laptops be merged together, answer is pretty much "no"
