Does the himi on the tv go in the in the port that says in or out and where does it it go in the the end port or out port

Always post model numbers so we can be specific.
Is your LG a BD player or a home theater system with built in BD player?
If it is just a BD player then all the HDMI connectors on your BD player are outputs. Outputs are always connected to inputs. No way to get it wrong with a TV and BD player.
If it is a HTS with BD player then it can be more complicated. If one of the TV HDMI inputs is labeled ARC (audio return channel) that connector can be used as a audio and video input as well as an audio output to connect to the HTS if it also has ARC. If yours does then you need to connect the HDMI output of the HTS to the HDMI input on the TV that is labeled ARC (there will only be one). You turn on ARC in the TV and HTS menus.
If your don't have ARC in both the TV and HTS then you would need to add an additional audio cable from the TV audio output (usually optical audio) to the HTS so that sound from the TV can be played through the HTS.
