Is buying from lesser known earbud manufacturers such as GGMM, MEE, or Symphonzed a bad idea?

I'm thinking about buying a pair of GGMM cuckoo or MEE M6 pro earbuds. I'm also looking at the Sony MDRXB50AP Extra Bass earbuds as well. I'm going to buy whatever pair of earbuds i decide on on Black Friday, so I may end up getting something completely different. Is buying from a lesser known company a big risk, not a big deal, or a good thing?
Also, what earbuds would you recommend in the 30$-100$ range?

Solution
For earbuds (which are not recommended for anything other than mobile phone/portable player use), stick to KEF, Sony, Koss, Senhiesser, etc. Sony ones tend to be very good for your money under $50, less so above.

I suggest against unknown "brands" simply for build concerns, earbuds tend to be abused more and are weaker from the get go after all.
