Hi guys!

I bought an ASUS laptop a few months back, and I'm experiencing some issues while playing games. I've only played a few games, but every time I encounter the same problem, about every 10 seconds like clockwork, the frame rate drops. I've used fraps to see the fps, and it's happened in every game I played (Life is strange, CS GO and a Castlevania game). It seems to have no importance what settings i run the game on.
The laptop is an ASUS x550L, with i7 processor, 8 gigs of ram and an NVIDIA 820m. The drivers are up to date, i've set that all the programs start on the dedicated graphics by default, and only game while it's on it's charger.

I know that the first response some will want to give is that this is a weak gpu bla bla, but you have to admit it is strange for it to behave like this in every game regardless of the graphic settings.

I hope you guys can help. Thanks!

Well, the 820M isnt a weak GPU, I've a lot of GTA V experience on it, but don't use FRAPS to check FPS. I'd not bother checking FPS while gaming, FRAPS is known to reduce FPS a lot. The other reason can be heating. From my experience, i've known that the card heats up upto 94 degrees under heavy gaming load. This could cause throttling making the GPU run slower. Also, please specify in a reply how much FPS you drop.
