Hi all,

The MSI GS60 seems to fit what I want but is there anything similar available with a glossy screen?

1. What is your budget? $2,500-$3,000 AUD (~$2,000USD)

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 15.6-inch

3. What screen resolution do you want? ~1080p/1440p (4K only if 60Hz)

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Want slim and light (~2kg), but will always be plugged in.

5. How much battery life do you need? None, will always be plugged in.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Yes, at 1080p and probably highest (only considering 970m or 980m)

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Maybe video editing, not a priority

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 500GB SSD at least (+1tb HDD)

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.MSI maybe

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? ~1-2 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? None

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. MSI seems nice but no real preference

13. What country do you live in? Australia

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. Glossy screen would be beautiful.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! :)

Just no. Alienware is just to overpriced. You're paying a lot for just the brand. Same goes to razer but razer is a bit unique because of its form factor. but the specs are over priced none the less
