I want to at least have as good as the one I have now.

  • Now I have HP probook 4530
    2.1 GHz i3-310M CPU
    windows 7 pro 64bit
    4 G RAM

3. What screen resolution do you want?
at least 1366x76
I have now 1366x768@60Hz

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
not important.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

  • web design. (expression web )
    bookkeeping ( excel)
    graphic design ( corel)
    Basic internet and email.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
at least 500G

always had good luck with HP. I am open somewhat, but have to make the best choice I can since there is not going back :)

Costa Rica, but buying in USA

  • Support or warranty not important. Once I have the laptop, I just have to pay if needs repair. So I only want a NEW laptop.
    WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL - many reasons why.
    No touch screen.
    No 2 in 1
    Don't need any programs.

Hi,

First of all most the laptops today comes with either Windows 8.1 or 10 but you can just downgrade it to Windows 7. Just get a retail version of Windows 7 from any PC shop that should work just fine as well or from Microsoft.

Update: I have decided to go with windows 10. Since there is no computer help where I live, it is probably better I get it already installed. My friend had 8.1 and had to go to the supplier 7 times to get 10 installed correctly.
So, after much research, I found this
