So my Asus G53JW laptop shuts off randomly at above 50% battery power. I just bought a new after-market battery into it (this one).
And also, the ac power jack and some broken soldered part has been resoldered just 2 days ago.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi,

Change the Power Option of your laptop specially for the battery.
- Go to Control Panel then look for Power Option
- Once in Power Option click on "Change plan settings" depending on which power plan is selected
- Click on "Change advance power settings" and look for Battery
- Change the power option of your battery to your liking.

If that doesn't fix it try to uninstall/reinstall the ACPI Complaint driver for your battery in Device Manager. Just uninstall it from Device Manager and reboot the laptop that should reinstall it automatically.
