Between the two I would go with the ab029tx because it has a 1080p screen. It allows you to see more information on the screen at once say like when you are surfing the web or using programs like Excel or Photoshop.

But playing games at 1080p with only a 940m will not be that great since the 940m is only considered a good mainstream graphics chip. Depending on the game, you may need to drop down to 1600x900 or 1366x768 resolution for good performance. When using lower than max resolution in games the graphics will not look quite as sharp, but it is only a very minor decrease in quality. Of you play a game on it at 1366x768 resolution, you probably will need to have another laptop that only has a 1366x768 resolution screen next to it to...

Hi, other than screen resolution and RAM, both are the same. I would suggest the one with 8gb RAM, because there isnt much difference between 720P and 1080p. Also, a higher resolution screen with lower gaming FPS. The more RAM is better, because it will allow you to have more applications open at once. :) You could game on the laptop with 4gb RAM but the one with 720P screen and 8gig ram is better. :)

Games with low system requirements like League of Legends, Dota 2, CSGO, Hearthstone would be playable at 1080p and max graphics settings with the 940m.

RAM is cheap and easy to upgrade so. Most laptops have 2 RAM slots, so you only need to by a 4GB RAM stick to increase the total RAM of 8GB. If it only has 1 RAM slot, then you would need to replace the 4GB stick with an 8GB stick. The user manual should tell you how many RAM slots it has, otherwise you need to remove the bottom cover to check for yourself. In the US a 4GB RAM stick costs about $25 and an 8GB RAM stick costs about $45. Not sure what it costs in your country.
