my laptop slowly fades to black while im still using. i turned it off after 10-15mins but sad to say i cant see anything but b

Hi,
First is to try and do a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if it boots up after then. If that doesn't work try to shine a light on the display and see if you'll get anything from it. If you do the back light could have worn off. Next is if you can hear the fan spinning and there are indicator lights on it try and connect an external monitor and see if you'll get any display from it. If you do get a display from the external monitor your built in display might have gone bad already. Also try and reset the RAM, take them all off then put them back in making sure that they are all seated properly into each slots. If all these doesn't work it's your motherboard that is faulty.
