Dear Friends,

I have an ASUS laptop - 1tb hdd and 24 gb ssd. After installing win 10 . the DISK 1 SSD shows unallocated. My laptop is now slow in startup and shutdown.

How to manage this unallocated 24gb and make the computer more fast.

I agree what you say. But do i need to reinstall windows in the system and make the
Configure SATA mode in BIOS setup

When starting the computer, press the F2 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
Go to Configuration SATA Drives.
Select the setting for Chipset SATA Mode and change the value to RAID.
Press the F10 key to save settings and restart the system.
Then re install win 10 to make the 24gb of ssd work. !!!!

Sorry RGD I was out of town. I was out of the reach of my laptop so could not do anything.

I still could not configure the PC. Which software you are talking about,i already have Windows Rapid storage technology.I see performance button in place of accelerate button.

I am not able to see the accelerate button. Probably its in Rapid start technology. But I do not have that Rapid response tech. Neither I am able to install response technology nor manage the unallocated 22.7 gb

My sata mode selection in UEFI BIOS in win 10 is AHCI. Is that a problem ??

Please let me know ,thanks.
