I was connecting my laptop (Samsung) to my TV (Samsung) via a VGA cable. We moved, I reconnected, it worked fine. We moved again a few months later, I reconnected it and it does not work. I tried a different TV (Insignia) and my laptop does connect fine. So I went back to the original TV and tried to play around with the resolution and other settings. Now, when I connect, the laptop screen goes black and the Samsung TV still says "Not Supported Mode". Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Solution
Hi,

First try to update the driver of your graphics card.
- Go to Device Manager then right click on the graphics card driver and select Update Driver Automatically
- The other way is to download and install the driver update from the manufacturer depends on what you have (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel).
- Once the latest driver has been installed press the Windows key + P at the same time and select either Duplicate or Extended and press Enter depending on your choice.
