So I'm just s general university student, chemistry major, so nothing too technical.

Am I missing out on much if I got a 4GB MBA over an 8GB one? All I'd be using it for is word processing (and general MS Office type stuff), web browsing, email, just that sort of stuff. I may try play Runescape on it from time to time if I'm not home but I can't imagine a Java application being that bad for 4GB? But that's about it really, would I really be missing out on anything?

Yah the 4GB version will be fine for you, generally the only time your going notice a difference between 4gb and 8gb is if you actually use more than 4gb which you wont doing those tasks as long as you dont like to keep 100 browser tabs open at the same time or something.

I would never recommend a macbook very overpriced for what you get but I assume most people who buy apple products know that but I always feel the need to say something anyways.
