How to fix BOOTMRG is missing

My daughter has a asus eee pic seashell series when I turned it on all it says is

BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart.

I've tried this many times and not his is working
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE

Hi,

First thing to do is to check if the HDD is detected inside BIOS. If it's detected and you're getting the error that means that your Operating System was corrupted. You'll need to run a System Recovery disc normally is included with your laptop but if not you'll need to order one from ASUS.
