Hey Guys so looking for some advice

my Logitech G930 after 5years of use broke (Mic Broke & Left Ear Cup Broke Off - Not bad for 5years use) & my Razer Imperator 4G (Broke after 3years use).

So im looking to upgrade my Peripherals (before my actual pc early-2016, after new tech comes out).

Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Core (Good Reviews, Reliable Mouse, Good Price, Rated One of the Best Overall Mouses of 2015).

Headset: Kingston HyperX Cloud II (Wired) OR Corsair H2100 Wireless OR Corsair VOID Wireless.

My problem is more so with my headset, what are peoples experiences with these headsets (im not looking to be guided to more expensive brands/headsets (unless its within the price range - im looking for gaming headset's not Headphone/Desktop Mic Setup.

So the question: Is it better to get a Wired or Wireless (I do like the modularity of the HyperX, but i prefer the ease of use of the wireless setup) & if wireless, which is better H2100/VOID Or something else in the price range?

Kingston HyperX Cloud II: $149 AUD
Corsair H2100 Wireless: $155 AUD
Corsair VOID Wireless: $179 AUD

(As Quoted From PCCasegear.com)

Look forward to hearing any advice
Cheers,

Ah Excellent okay! To bad you had those issues, I have had none with my. Although I had one issue with my G35 where the plastic holding the earpiece came loose, but they replaced it under warranty.

If you are not in a hurry for a headset, I can let you know once the G933 gets shipped how it is. Eitherway, Good luck with your findings:)

100% go for the HyperX Cloud II.

Wired headsets give much better sound and mic clarity than wired (unless you spend a lot more), and nothing is more infuriating that having your headset turn off mid session.

I own a set of Cloud IIs myself and they really are the best price/performance headset for gaming on the market right now, a view echoed by many trusted reviews I read before purchasing mine.

Do u think that the wired layout (e.g.: having cords present doesn't get in the way - that's a concern for me)

Secondly do u think the lack of automatic mic cancellation and mic indicators has presented any problems? These are just things I'm used to with wireless headsets

I'm leaning towards the hyper, looking at reviews and your own opinion as well it seems like a good, reliable and cost effective choice, just want some clarification on those issues

Already had a look at it, if it has anything like the G930 Build Quality ill pass. Honestly ye i had it for 5years and it worked but it constantly disconnected, lost power, didnt charge properly (and i think it only managed to get that much use because i treated it so carefully). while i did love the G930 it had alot of problems too, and for $350 AUD for the G933 I dont think its a worthy investment which is why im looking at those ones (leaning on the HyperX CII)

I think ill being going for the 'HyperX Cloud II' for now, Seems like the best option for what i need, worst comes to worse i can always upgrade later (wireless seems to be something i want, but not necessarily what i may need.
