My toshiba won't turn on. The hinge on it was acting up messing up the casing, on Thursday it wouldn't turn on and Yesterday I left it into the shop to be repaired. I got a text this morning saying it was good to go. Since I got it back, the casing in repaired but still will not turn on, I took the battery out and the unplugged from the mains and pressed the power button for 30 seconds and nothing happened. I put the battery back in and plugged into mains and still nothing. When I started this process the battery light at the bottom of the laptop was red, it's now turned white. Please help!

Hi,

Do you see other light on the laptop like the CAPS lock light on the keyboard? If you have an available external monitor connect it to the laptop turn it on and see if you'll get any display from it because the fact that you'll see something on the external display that mean it's a hardware problem either the cable connecting the display into the motherboard or the actual screen. Lastly, is to reseat all the RAM hoping that they might just be loose. Take them all out then put them back it making sure that they are all seated properly.
