I can't figure out how to get my computer to show a netflix movie on my tv. I have it hooked up with a HDMI chord. Can you help?

you need to have the tv set to the correct input to see the picture.

then you need to tell the pc to output a signal to the tv. this will be done through the display settings. you have to enable the second monitor as it does not do it automatically. right click your desktop and select display properties and then find where you can enable the second monitor. the easiest way is to "duplicate" the monitor so it simply mirrors what is on the pc screen. this is easier at first then "extending" the desktop and creating a new desktop. you will then have to drag and move things around to get it to the right screen you wish it to be on. but when you turn off the tv, things get a bit shuffled when what was on the tv now reverts back to the...

until you get the idea and play with it some, the duplicate option is the way to go.
