hello i have asus g750jx (i7-4700, 24GB RAM, gtx 770m) running windows 10 (sadly) and i have a problem with closing the lid. screen turns off, but will not dissconect. by that i mean the laptop display is still connected which is a problem, because most of the windows are popping up on the laptop display even though the lid is closed and the display is turned off. i just want to use the external monitor. i added a printscreen of the display settings when the lid is closed (as you can see both the monitors are connected)

i will appriciate any help.
best regards

Hi,

Press the Windows key + P and select "Projector Only" that should disable your built in screen and should only show the display on the external monitor. If you'll want to revert it just press those keys again then select "Computer Only".
