I would like to have a laptop that is new and can run minecraft without lag on medium settings at the least. I keep looking but I can never find anything good, I'm just bad with computers, to be honest. I'm just sick of using this old laptop that can barely run MC or play 720p videos. If some of you could post laptops for me that you yourself would purchase that'd be awesome! Sorry that I'm basically asking you to spoon feed me answers. I did try looking myself but nothing seems good for the price.

The above two laptops are pretty good value for the money;both are under $400. The Asus has better specs because it has a Core i5 CPU rather than a Core i3 in the Dell. The Core i5 is more powerful because of higher clockspeeds. But both have the same Intel HD 5500 graphics core which is fine for playing Minecraft at 1366x768 resolution.

If you want to spend $600 you can get the following Asus laptop with has a 1920x1080 resolution screen and a nVidia 940m which is more than capable of maxing out the graphics for Minecraft and also playing some more graphically intensive games at 1366x768 / 1600x900 resolution with low / medium graphic settings depending on the specific game...

Acer has a similar laptop with a 1080p screen and the nVidia 940m for $480, but Acer generally is generally known for "cheap plasticky feeling" laptops. But their more expensive laptops tends to receive better reviews about their overall quality.

If you would like to extend your budget then you can get alot more for your money, if you want to run minecraft then I would really recommend getting a laptop with a seperate graphics card as if you use a graphics card built in with your processor then it will slowly wear out your laptop D;
