ACER ASPIRE SWITCH 10 won't turn on

Had Acer Aspire switch 10 since Christmas 2014.... Now I am not able to turn on the laptop.

There is blue light when I plug in the charger but there is no light after taking out the charger. And laptop is not getting turned on.

Please help me - it is my daugher's and she NEEDS it for school

Answer please!

Hi,

Perform a hard reset first, remove the battery (if not built in) and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the AC adapter first and see if the laptop boots up normally to the desktop. If it does you can put the battery back in as well. If this doesn't work try connecting an external monitor and see if you'll get any display from it because if you do there might be an issue either with the LCD or just the cable connecting it to the motherboard.

I removed the ram and cleaned them with a cloth and then replaced them and pressed the power button (with no plug and battery) and my laptop fired up and is working perfectly!
