Good gaming headset?

I'm looking for a good gaming headset that I can use. I've been looking at the Astro A40 headset but I think that is quite expensive. Does anyone know a headset which performs like the A40's but a bit cheaper please? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

By the way the headset I want is for mainly for the PS4 but maybe PC if I decide to get one.

My son switched from a $355 Sennheiser to a $100 Logitech G930 and was quite happy

Wow... under $100 here... which equates to about £65

Gamdias Hephestus is decent at a very good price

Worth looking at the Sennhesiers if ya have the cash

You can go for:
Under £100: Corsair’s Gaming H2100/ Razer Kraken 7.1 chroma, Roccat Kone XTD, Siberia V2.
More than £100: Sennheiser PC 363D ( I personally prefer it as best gaming headset you can get under £200, as a Ex-FPS gamer this would be my choice).
I found this headset costs £170 in Manchester,UK.

The original Sennheisers we had were great but a bit delicate. The Gaming line is not quite as good for audio as the other lines, but just a teeny notch lower. OTOH,the Gaming line can take a bit more abuse .... if you have ever had ya head yanked because you stood up, and forgot they weren't wireless, you want to avoid the studio / professional lines.

You also get a free game (Hitman Absolution) which should ease the cost of the price premium over the Astro ... if ya don't have it already.

Be aware tho .... not all of the headsets mentioned will suit your needs.

Sennheiser Game Zero - PC, Mac, PS4 & Xbox One
Sennhesier PC 363D - No Good, PC Only
Logitech G930 - No Good, PC Only

Depending on budget, I'd go for the Game One if the price isn't prohibitive, or the more budget friendly Hephestus

Wow, thanks for all ur help. I was looking last night st the razer kraken 7.1 chroma and honestly, I think they will do perfect for me.
