Dear community :),

I am currently looking for a new laptop as my old Acer Aspire V3 is going to leave this world soon.

I felt in love with Dell XPS 13, I also kind of like MCB Pro 13 retina (2015) BUT! I am afraid both doesn't meet my performance requirements, but I am not totally sure about it, so please help me with choosing.

I have to work with big PSD files as I have to retouch sometimes for my job, will these laptops be able to handle complex Photoshop works?

I am also occasionally working with Cinema 4D as a hobby, will these laptops be able to render some still images (not animations) in a normal times? Same question for occasional video editing in Premiere.

My budget is somewhere around $1700 and I am looking for well built computer with no overheating issues, no "wierd clicking noise" issues, no wifi problems... just some serious machines. I am looking for 13" because I am travelling alot and low weight would be welcome, but I could live with 15" too.

Dream machine would have 16gb ram, fast processor, 256GB SSD, dedicated nvidia (2gb) and quality screen...

I would love to have the laptop before Christmass (thinking about XPS 15)
THANKS for any suggestions!

F.

Nice offer, I believe this has all the performance I could ever need but thing is, I am looking for a stylish good looking laptop (as you can see in my choice XPS 13 or MCB Pro), not 17" dumpster that would ruin my back when carrying.

But THANKS, for suggestion! :)

Thank you ak47jar3d for your help. All the specs according this laptop looks great, but I have a huge problem with its gaming look. I rather stay "low profile" :) and this would attract too much of an attention.

Sorry for being picky, but for this price I really would like to be 100% satisfied. :)

Please, do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks!
