I'm looking for a laptop that will last a long time and has nice specs. I'm stuck between three. (not intended for any gaming). I use the laptop for everyday work (carrying it all over), photo editing, school, and some other stuff.

The Lenovo Y50, Asus Zenbook, and the surface pro 3.

The lenovo has far superior specs and a really nice specs. The only down side is the weight and I don't like the red keyboard.

The surface pro 3 has a fair display and pretty solid specs, but is a smaller than the others.

The zenbook is fair sized, (13" with 512gb ssd), and has a nice keyboard but it's expensive for what I get compared to the y50.

I understand it's not helpful that I didn't put a lot of info in here :D

I think surface pro 3 would be my choice because you said you are going to do editing, school and other stuff. I find my surface pro 3 very powerful for school because of the capabilities with the pen and after you buy the surface keyboard it just becomes a computer.

But I am pretty sure Y50 and zenbook will be faster

I get a pretty significant student discount on the surface, so I think I'll choose that. Thanks!
