Hi, i bought a Acer aspire nitro V17 Black edition. Processor: Intel Core i7 4710,
Graphics Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M, 8gig Ram.

The problem is , if i install a game on the normal hdd (not on ssd) i get lagspikes every 2 minutes or so .. And if i install the same game on the ssd the game runs smooth..

Anyone knows what the problem may be?? I ran speed tests of the hdd already and its fast enough.

Hi,

Please do check if your games are all set to run under NVIDIA graphics card.

- Open NVIDIA Control Panel then click on 3D Settings
- Under Manage 3D Settings and on the Preferred graphics processor select High performance NVIDIA processor.
- If these doesn't work try to install the latest graphics card driver there is from NVIDIA support site.
- Uninstall the graphics card driver from Device Manager and in Programs and Features
- Download and install the graphics card driver that can be downloaded from this link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
- Reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
