I was updating my laptop this morning, (windows 8.1 just the usual forced monthly update) and when the computer went to restart it self, it turned off and now it won't turn back on. I thought maybe it had just died but I've been charging it for two hours now and it won't even try to startup. It's now very old, I got it almost exactly one year ago, it's an Asus x750L if that helps any. I use it for work and take good care of it, all of its components seemed to be working properly up until the update and I do virus scans regularly. I've never experienced a problem like this, does anyone have any ideas on this topic?
