Intrusive transient box popping up with CPU/Memory information

I have a new ASUS G751JT-DB73 laptop with Windows 10 Home, 24GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GTX 970M with driver version 10.18.13.5354. The black box linked to above will occasionally pop up for a few seconds - this seems to occur most often when I'm doing something CPU/graphics intensive (e.g. playing Kholat), but as pictured above it may also occur when all I have open is a Chrome browser and XnView. I have attempted to google for a solution, but including "black box" anywhere in the search pulls up nothing but unrelated results, and I don't know enough about the problem to know what keywords to use instead.

Hi,

First try to perform a System Restore with your laptop and put it back to an earlier date and time when you're not getting that pop up. Lastly is to do a Factory Reset with it if System Restore won't fix that pop up.
