I recently developed a couple of problems with my Dell 17" laptop.
The first problem is when the computer is taken out of sleep mode the backlit keyboard stays on and the only way to turn it off is the do a complete restart.
The second problem is that the computer uses the battery up very quickly, within 1 to 2
hours with it just sitting in standby. I stopped using sleep mode because of the problem mentioned above. Maybe I had a couple of bad updates, but I really do not want to re-install the Windows 8.1 operating system for obvious reasons.
Any advice would be appreciated.
