I need help, my laptop will not turn on again

Hi, Being a laptop, and it shut itself down, I would say that the processor over heated. If it doesn't restart after having had ample time to cool down, then I would say that the CPU is fried. That is why a little maintainance is necessary. Taking some canned air and blowing it in the vents in short bursts and even taking off some of the covers off the back and doing the same thing. The surface you set it on can be bad as well. I have seen far too many ads with somebody laying on a bed working on a laptop that is sitting on the bed. Not a good idea as the bedd stuff will block the air intake.

coastie is right it sounds like its over heated ,, fingers crossed its not damaged.. which is probably unlikely as it is a safety feature so that it wont damage components let it cool and report back :)
