Hi there, i have an issue with the Toshiba satellite c665, windows 7 64bit, 4gb ram, i3 processor and 500gb hardrive.

A friend gave it to me to fix, normally i just restore from partition and nuke everything, and it all goes perfect.
Problem is it is ridiculously slow, and i mean ridiculous. It took about 11hrs for it to restore, it take about ten minutes to start up, i have never seen anything like it before.
checked to be sure it is the right power supply, which it is. I checked the power options and set it to performance setting.
Its still ridiculously slow when on battery alone.
I cant figure it out!
Any and all help, comments, suggestions etc would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks

With all of these problems, you should try performing a fresh installation of Windows 7 from new installation media. Acquire the product key from the sticker on the laptop, or from the installation disc. If this is not possible, use this software to identify your product keys:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

After this, download a new Windows 7 ISO here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

Use it to create a DVD installer for Windows 7. You can also use a USB drive,
