Hi, i plan to wait until black friday to buy a new laptop. Was looking for a gaming laptop to play the newest games. Budget is around 600-800. Should i buy it on black friday or should i wait even longer to get the best options? Thanks!

Generally the best time of year to find deals is either 2 weeks before black Friday as prices will be low then raised the week before black Friday then lowered to make them look desirable. Mostly mainstream laptops will have the deals on black Friday and not niche ones. February also when sales are slow and companies want to retain business due to after holiday returns. Skylake laptops will likely be $50-100 higher compared to an equivalent 5th gen counterpart that has the same specs otherwise.

Whens skylake releasing and how much extra is it compared to prices today? Also, what kind of laptop deals will there be on the 2 periods u mentioned? Thanks!

The answer to how much more Skylake laptops will be is in my last sentence. The Skylakes should be seen in the coming weeks and months. No one can really say exactly which laptops will have the best deals specifically, but I would expect to see the best deals with current 4th and 5th gen intel laptops in that time in November, and the first reasonably discounted Skylake laptops around February, likely.

Not personally, no. I would say that you will be looking at a ultra low voltage CPU in this price range (dual core i5/i7 with hyperthreading) and a 950m. I imagine that during November you will possibly get into a 960m with a 4th or 5th gen quad core i7 at or just under $800.
So right now this is the best you will find in your range for bang for buck:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232576&cm_re=950m-_-34-232-576-_-Product and in November I would imagine something similar to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314849&cm_re=v15_nitro-_-34-314-849-_-Product
