I'm not entirely sure what to do.

I am currently a sophomore college student. I haven't been gaming a bunch lately (new job + school) but still really enjoy having a gaming laptop for the occasional game. I know desktops are better, not really helpful though for my tiny and already very hot room. The issue at hand is that I currently have a MSI GS60 that is covered under Microsoft Complete, (basically an accidental protection plan) from the Microsoft Store. The MS store has told me they cannot fix it (broken vent piece on the rear) and therefore it will most likely be replaced, if I choose to take that path. They have given me the option to:

1. Keep the MSI GS60 2PC Ghost-231US and pay roughly 200 to fix it myself. MSI has told me the part is about 200 dollars and MS says they can't find it through their parts supplier. MS also told me my Ethernet card is broken. I never had problems with it before so I'm unsure. Don't have an Ethernet cable on hand atm. (860m + Intel i7-4700HQ (I believe?) + 16gb RAM + 1TB hdd + 128gb SSD)

2. Get an Asus Zenbook Pro UX501JW and pay nothing (960m + Intel Core i7-4720HQ + 16gb RAM + 512gb SSD) They're really pushing this. It's available in store and essentially no work for them.

3. Get a MSI GE62 Apache Pro 082US and pay nothing (970m + Intel Core i7-4720HQ + 12gb RAM+ 1TB hdd + 128gb SSD). They think they can do this for me but still not 100% an option.

I am quite partial to keep my GS60. It is the thinnest and lightest of the bunch. Only thing that slightly bothers me is the battery life with it. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. I dislike the Asus as it is Windows 10 and has a glossy screen(sounds dumb, I know). Only thing I dislike about the Apache Pro is that it is slightly larger than the GS60. I really wanted the new GS60 that was on the MS store online, but has since gone unavailable and therefore is not an option.

If you have other opinions please just know I can only get laptops that the Microsoft Store currently carries.

So, fix the GS60 or put in a claim for one of the laptops listed above? Any thoughts are appreciated! Thank you!
