First of all below is a link to my wife's laptop...

Acer Aspire AS5755-9401
CPU - i7-2670QM
RAM - 8GB DDR3
Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD
Intel 7260 wireless AC mini pcie card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106240)

I bought this for my wife in 2012. I upgraded the wireless card a few weeks ago to the Intel 7260 AC card without any issues. Several months ago the left side of the keyboard began lagging and not responding well at all. It finally got so bad that I bought a replacement keyboard (link below)...

I disassembled the machine, replaced the keyboard, triple checked everything when reassembling (using a video guide), and restarted. The restart was very slow. The machine finally booted and the keyboard worked perfectly. However, the machine acts like it is in slow motion. The folder and browser windows open and close terribly slow and switching to any program is literally a crawl. I rebooted several times without any resolve. I then rebooted and ran scandisk without finding any errors in the ssd.

Device manager shows nothing new or wrong hardware related. Task manager is the same as before without any high ram or cpu usage. All temps from HWMonitor and cpu temp are fine. I have also reseated the ssd and ram without any success. Also, rebooting and going into bios is terrible slow as well. I'm thinking this is most likely a hardware related issue.

Has this happened to any of you before? If so, was is a hardware problem? Any help is appreciated. I'll most likely disassemble and recheck again tomorrow.

Thanks in advance or any advice...crashingmedic
