Sony viao laptop charger question bought a sony viao laptop from a friend who did not have the original charger with it so he gave me a charger that had variable voltage and it works to run the computer it does not however charge the battery, restart the computer or allow sleep mode. I am using it on the lowest setting I am hoping turning up the voltage will fix problem but am not sure if it hurt the computer it is currently on 10v. Will turning up voltage work to fix said problems? What should voltage be? it is a 2013 pink i5 sony touchscreen viao
