My asus laptop has no disc port?

I bought myself an asus laptop that by the looks of it has a dvd player installed but after further research I don't think it has a dvd player installed. Is this correct? Also is it possible to get one installed and what would be the price?

Correct, cheap laptop don't come with dvd player anymore.

Hmm, according to this review, the laptop DOES have an optical drive:

However, I'm a little confused. In your post you say you have an *Asus* brand laptop, but *Aspire* is a line of Acer brand laptops.
