Keyboard shortcut to "activate" program not start it?

Hello.

I own a Lenovo Y50, and there is this problem with it that whenever I wake it up from standby mode the speed of holding down a button is super slow etc. backspace - now this is a known problem with no official solution - because the keyboard settings is not set to low.

So I got this little workaround which is an app that have its icon down by the clock, so whenever I click on that icon the keyboard speed is reset to normal. The problem I have is that it takes ages for me to move my mouse down there to click on that icon, so I was wondering if it was possible to create a keyboard shortcut to it? I have tried to create one by right clicking on the shortcut itself to set a keyboard shortcut but it opens up a new program, I don't need it to open a new one since I already have it down there, I just need a shortcut to click on it - It's hard for me to explain, but I hope there is a friendly soul out there who is willing to help me.

Its pretty much this:

I want a keyboard shortcut to be able to click/activate a program, not start it one, just like clicking on it with a mouse.

Well I did put it that way that when the computer starts, it's launching. But the problem is, that I don't need it to start/run since it's already doing that, I just need a quicker way instead of clicking on it - it's bugging me out that I have to do that 20 times a day when I'm in school.

If you could tell me how to schedule it or "activate" when the PC is starting from standby that would be great!
