Hello,
I have a problem which is really annoying, but I don't know if it's hardware related and if it's even worth taking my laptop to repair for it...
So, we're talking about Acer Aspire V3 572G, few days ago, I noticed there was sound coming from one headphone only.
I thought it was the headphones, but later today, I noticed the same thing on another pair, so I decided to test them on my phone and the headphones worked perfectly.
I checked balance levels, updated my drivers (I'm using win10 by the way) and the problem persisted.
The thing that got me even more puzzled, when I went to test the sound in Realtek control panel, on one headphone pair, only left one worked, and on another pair, only right one worked, but when the laptop was showing it's testing left headphone.
If I try to access headphones from Playback devices, there are no Headphones listed. Only speakers, so I can't really do anything anymore.
Date of driver's release is 18th August 2015.
EDIT: Let me clarify situation with testing: 1st pair: Testing left: left works, testing right: no sound. 2nd pair: Testing left: right works, testing right: no sound from headphones.
