Hi,
I am currently looking to buy myself a new laptop. I am at University and need a laptop for work but I would also like to be able to play games (E.g. League of Legends, L4D2 + more modern games) at med-high video settings.

Chassis & Display = Optimus Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Processor (CPU) = Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-4720HQ (2.60GHz, 3.5GHz Turbo)

Memory (RAM) = 8GB KINGSTON SODIMM DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB)

Graphics Card = NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M - 2.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 12

Memory = Hard Disk 1TB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (5,400rpm)

DVD/BLU-RAY Drive = Ultra Slim 8x SATA DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW)

Memory Card Reader = Integrated 6 in 1 Card Reader (SD /Mini SD/ SDHC / SDXC / MMC / RSMMC)

Sound Card = Intel 2 Channel High Def. Audio + SoundBlaster™ Cinema 2

Battery = Optimus Series 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (62.16WH)

It will cost about £850.

Edit: Is there any cheaper laptops that I can purchase that will do the same job? If so, suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you for any feedback :)

Operating System = Genuine Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc DVD & Licence

You'll be able to run the majority of games on the market with medium settings (~30 fps)....don't expect AAA titles to run on ultra 1080p with good framerates.
