I use to play different games on my laptop. When I play it on battery power, it is working well but when I switch to ac power my laptop starts freezing and finally I have to shut it down. I am irritated with this problem. Please help me.

Recently my laptop was starting to be very hot and the cooler was running full speed by the slightest load. I guessed that it was the cooling paste that was dried and when I removed the cooler I saw that I was right. I put on some ARCTIC MX-4 paste and BAMMM the cpu was now 12 °C cooler under full load anf the gpu was 5 °C cooler.

Using AC power doesn't hurt or make difference. Better to use it on battery power. Try to remove the battery while you are not using and store it in cool place. Temperature shortens the life of battery. And whenever you use laptop, there should be cooler, small wooden plank, or use it on the table. By the way, cooler only cools the casing not the processor, motherboard or its GPU.
