Can I use Dell 65 W adapter to Hp Compaq laptop (hp adapter is also 65 W)

Hello everyone.

I have two laptop Dell & hp. But Due to some problem my hp laptop adapter is damaged. now i want to use my dell adapter in Hp laptop. I already tried it. It working fine. But i am little bit afraid due to difference in Output of adapter. please give me suggestion. Is it good to use dell adapter in Hp Laptop.

Here is both adapter details:

The HP laptop will charge without objection from that adapter , but i sincere think it will damage the battery very soon , since my hp original battery died on me in 1 year , just by a few charges with dell adapters.

My laptop battery is almost died. It gives me only half hour backup.

You can run it as long as you want like a desktop without UPS. Or you can buy a Lap care battery and charger. Its actually good one, and mine is working for the last 2 years approx and gives similar backup to the hp original one. It only costed me 1200-1300 around i think . still working well without any issues. I use original Hp charger though. BUt i guess the lapcare one should do weel for that too. It should be less than a 1000rs.
Do not go for any other local brand , else you will still get 1 hour backup with a new battery.
