Hey there, I recently got a broken Dell Studio 1747 from a friend, saying they didn't need it anymore. What they forgot to mention was they didn't need it anymore because it was useless. When you turn it on, the screen is set up into two parts: A very, very small horizontal part that actually works as a display, and a black screen. These are separated by a very thin white line. Slowly, VERY, VERY slowly, the display part actually grows. I broke in, disconnected and reconnected the screen, but it still doesn't work. Any Ideas on what it may be?

So, the thing is, I actually don't have a hard drive in it right now. That was bad too. I can't run the Linux tests because I literally can't see the screen. At all.

Linux Distros won't work either because I Cannot see the screen.

So, I tried booting it up with the hiren's Disk, and it did exactly what I thought it would do: Look here.

And here's another one, once I actually booted into the mini windows XP.
