hi, im waiting for my sennheiser g4me zero that I just ordered and are mostly going to use them for fps gaming, but im not sure if thats enough for good positional audio. I have asus formula VII rog Z97 motherboard, do i need a sound card like Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD also? Thanks in advance.

Any good set of stereo headsets will have good "fake" positional audio. The only way to get really good sound is to get a 5.1 or 7.1 set which are quite pricy. You can tell a difference with the top headsets that often have their own amplifiers and processors.
You won't get any kind of positional audio out of that headset - its a straight 2:1 stereo headset - left/right positional only

Edit - seems I may be wrong - found someone using these with a cheap Asus zonar DXin Dolby headphone mode & he swears the positional audio is great.
