My motherboard in my Toshiba Satellite P755-S5320 has finally passed after giving me 8 wonderful years (maybe a few less). The deceased mobo was a i3-2330M @2.20 GHZ -- question being what would you guys recommend as a replacement mobo maybe even one with better specs that could still hold the same RAM/FAN/Power Supply/Hard Drive etc etc.

Most laptops are not upgradeable. The best you can usually do is upgrade the RAM, sometimes the hard drive, but almost never the motherboard. The most upgradeable ones are usually high-end laptops geared to gaming or engineering/CAD work. Sager/Clevo is a good example of such a laptop manufacturer. Myself, I usually go with Dell Precision laptops which usually have upgradeable RAM, hard drives, CPUs and GPUs.
