my laptop dont have a "boot to usb" option and it doesnt boot on cdrom even if i plugged in an external dvdrom,,will i be able to install os on my harddrive on different laptop?what are the factors should i know for the installation to work?thank in advance..btw my laptop is a samsung np350v4c s05ph.

Usually there shouldn't be any problem installing an old HDD in a different computer. Just make sure you have the data from the drive backed up elsewhere. Once you've installed the HDD on your laptop, you should be able to see the drive in Disk Management and re-format it from there. Check this tutorial from our KB that explains the whole process: http

Again, keep in mind that this would erase all the data on that drive, so make sure you have the data copied in another storage device.

can you give me further information on how will i install os on it?i planned to attach laptop harddrive on a computer then install os from a flash drive.like normal installation in a normal pc(hdd)
