I just got the MSI GE Series GE70 Apache Pro-681 Laptop with Windows 8.1, and I've constantly had my browsers stop responding every 5 minutes or so, sometimes less. This is a very bothersome issue while I'm trying to research or use things like google docs. Google Chrome and Opera have the same issue, so I think it may be a problem with Windows 8.1. My laptop runs everything very smoothly other than web browsers, playing games like GTA V flawlessly. Anyone know a solution?

Hi,
Since this issue happens in all browsers clearly you are right that it has something to do with the OS of the PC. Before you do a Factory Reset with the PC which is the last resort most of the time try and reset all of your browsers first. There could be one common addon or plugin that they have that might causing this problem.
