So, a couple days ago I flashed a custom BIOS on to my new computer. This turned out to be a huge mistake because I noticed a severe loss in performance afterwards. So, I decided that I would flash the old BIOS I had by using the tool provided by Lenovo which can be found here.
However, it turned out I couldn't use that tool because the InsydeFlash utility thinks the current BIOS is a newer version and for some reason refuses to downgrade. I get an error that says "The version of rom file isn't newer than version of bios." Editing the .ini file included with the InsydeFlash utility didn't seem to help.
